It is with sorrow that the Sideen family announces the passing of David. Born David Carlson Sideen, January 16, 1949, passing away February 28, 2024, the youngest of the family of Edith and Eric Sideen.
Predeceased by his parents, brothers John, Robert and Alan and sister Evelyn.
Survived by his son Martin of Regina and daughter Jodie of Weyburn, Saskatchewan. Also survived by brother George of Hurkett, and sister Barbara of Okatoks, Alberta.
Special thanks to the St. Joseph’s Palliative Care unit for their kindness, caring and understanding. Also a special thank you to the Northwest Funeral Alternative for their services and for their understanding, cooperation and advice.
There will be a gathering of family and friends at the Stanley Hill Cemetery at 11:00am May 24, 2024 for interment and goodbyes, meeting again at the Kakabeka Legion for lunch and reminiscing at noon, May 24.
