THUNDER BAY – BrewHa! is returning on July 5 and 6 to offer more great beer at the waterfront.

The Thunder Bay Chamber of Commerce announced on Friday that its popular BrewHa! Festival will serve up some new and old-favourite craft beers with a portion of the proceeds going to a charitable partner.

Last year’s festival donated over $6,000 to Our Kids Count. This year’s local charitable partner has yet to be announced,

Chamber president Charla Robinson said the Brew Ha festival is a great opportunity for people to recognize community and to try local foods and beverages.

“It's all about bringing people together to celebrate local flavours. What a great way to spend your summer weekend with the best craft brews, delicious food and live music," Robinson said, adding that more details will be coming out soon.

“But right now, we're really excited to have 17 breweries signed up and to have this new event to really showcase the Cheese Encounter and how cheese fits with beer."

BrewHa! Tickets are available through the Chamber’s website.
