THUNDER BAY -- Police are looking for a man in the Current River area after an attempted abduction Tuesday night.
A woman was walking near Lillian Street and Grenville Avenue just after 9 p.m. when a man drove up and asked her for help to find a missing dog. When she approached the dark blue Ford Explorer, a 2002 to 2005 model with a loud exhaust, to look at a photo the man attempted to pull her into the vehicle. She was able to escape without injury and the man fled southbound on Lillian Street towards Leslie Avenue.
The man is described to be between 30 to 40, Caucasian and clean shaven with short brown hair.
