THUNDER BAY -- Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for the City of Thunder Bay warning of a significant snowfall.
The government weather agency issued the statement Wednesday morning, and predicts that five to 10-centimetres will fall in areas in and between this city and Dryden.
Meanwhile, 10 to 15 centimetres of snow is expected in regions from Red Lake across Sioux Lookout to the Geraldton and Hornepayne areas north of superior.
The snow will end by Thursday morning as the low pressure area moves into Northeastern Ontario.
