River Street Closure Extended Due to Weather
July 3, 2015 – Recent rain has delayed storm sewer construction on River Street. As a result, River Street from Rockwood Avenue to Pine Street will remain closed to through traffic today.
The work is expected to be completed by the end of the day.
Local traffic access will be available to Grandview mall and Madeline Street North.
The construction schedule is subject to change, as various factors – such as weather – can have an impact on project timelines.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible, and those travelling in the area are asked to obey all posted signage.
