THUNDER BAY – An early morning trailer fire has been deemed suspicious.
Firefighters responded to the trailer fire at about 6:20 a.m. Monday at the corner of Bay and Water Streets.
Thunder Bay Fire Rescue firefighters say the trailer was destroyed by the blaze, but it did not spread to the nearby SubZero Crossfit gym.
Shortly after 9 a.m. firefighters confirmed that the cause of the fire was deemed suspicious. The invitation has since been turned over to the Thunder Bay Police Service.
A city police officer is now at the scene and the investigation continues.
