Update No. 1
(FORT FRANCES, ON) – On February 10, 2016 at approximately 8:20 am members of the Rainy River District Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to a motor vehicle collision involving a school bus and a motor vehicle in Chapple Township.
Initial investigation determined that the bus was carrying six students at the time of the collision and no injuries were reported. Both vehicles sustained damage.
Further investigation has led to a 36 year old female driver of the motor vehicle, being charged under The Highway Traffic Act of Ontario with Fail to Yield-Uncontrolled Intersection.
