SHUNIAH -- An 11-year-old girl is in hospital with serious injuries after having been struck by a vehicle east of Thunder Bay.
Ontario Provincial Police officers say the girl's bicycle veered into the path of a crossover SUV on Lakeshore Drive just before 4 p.m. Sunday.
The nature of her injuries are unclear.but police said she was not wearing a helmet when the collision occurred.
The driver of the vehicle has not been charged.
