A Thunder Bay performer is one of 10 finalists in an online contest for the role of Dorothy in the upcoming Andrew Lloyd Webber production of The Wizard of OZ.

Jordan Wyllie was chosen out of hundreds of video submissions to compete for the role of Dorothy on the CBC's new reality talent competition Over the Rainbow.

If she wins, she will enter the top 100 and be flown to Toronto to audition for the show.

Wyllie has been performing since she was three years old, and is studying performance dance at Ryerson University.

She says she would make the perfect Dorothy as they are similar in many ways.

Voting is open until this Saturday when the winner will be flown to Toronto to attend the top 100 callback auditions for the show.

You can vote online at cbc.ca/overtherainbow.
