THUNDER BAY — Police executed a search warrant at a home in Thunder Bay on Tuesday.

Two people were arrested for drug trafficking after Thunder Bay Police started an investigation about suspected cocaine and fentanyl being trafficked in the city.

Police identified and located a suspect near Simpson and Rowand streets Tuesday afternoon.

After a brief foot chase, police arrested the first suspect without further incident.

A second suspect was located and arrested after a traffic stop about an hour later.
