REGINA -- The Trevor Bonot foursome is two-for-two at the Montana's Brier in Regina.

The Thunder Bay rink scored a pair in the 10th end on Sunday afternoon and eked out a 7-6 win against Newfoundland and Labrador's Andrew Symonds, a back-and-forth match that saw each team take the lead on two separate occasions.

Symonds stole one one to open the first and took a 3-1 lead after three, but Bonot bounced back with a deuce of his own in the fourth and stole a single in the fifth to take a 4-3 advantage.

The Atlantic Canadian team traded singles with Bonot in the sixth and eighth ends, and took a 6-5 lead in the ninth, drawing for two to the four foot for the extra point.

But Bonot, lead Kurtis Byrd, second Jordan Potts and third Mike McCarville made the most of hammer and scored their two coming home to pull out the victory.

Next up is a Sunday evening match-up against Manitoba's Reid Carruthers, a team that includes Northern Ontario's Brad Jacos throwing skip stones.

In other Draw 4 action, Alberta's Brendan Bottcher downed Yukon 8-3, Carruthers edged Ontario's Scott Howard 7-6 and Maintoba's Matt Dunstone evened his record at 1-1 with an 8-5 win over B.C.'s Catlin Schneider.
