THUNDER BAY -- A Canadian retailer is closing its doors in Thunder Bay for good.
Monday marks the final day for the Zellers location at Intercity Shopping Centre.
The store slashed prices by up to 90 per cent as it prepares to close down at 9 p.m.
This morning, shoppers were flocking to the store for the last time to get their hands on the remaining discounted items. Last year, it was announced the Zellers location will be converted into a Target, which is set to open in June.
It's expected to employ up to 200 people, with $10 million to $11 million being invested to make the location more "Target Friendly."
Thunder Bay's other two Zellers stores closed in June, and have since been converted into Wal-Marts.
