Driver charged with careless driving after blowing red light, crashing

A 40-year-old Thunder Bay man has been charged with careless driving after a three-vehicle collision Friday morning. Thunder Bay Police Service officers responded to the crash after 8:30 a.m., at the intersection of Cumberland and River Streets.

A 40-year-old Thunder Bay man has been charged with careless driving after a three-vehicle collision Friday morning.

Thunder Bay Police Service officers responded to the crash after 8:30 a.m., at the intersection of Cumberland and River Streets.

Police say an eastbound Ford Explorer entered the intersection on a red light and crashed into a Dodge pickup truck.

The crash caused a secondary collision with an Olds Cutlass.

All three drivers suffered minor injuries and two drivers were sent to the hospital.
