THUNDER BAY -- The second strategic plan for the Northern Ontario School of Medicine is about to wrap-up, and the school is eager to start planning its next five years with the help of the community.

From the beginning of NOSM's existence, the school has been asking communities across Ontario for feedback on what direction it take.

NOSM is now in its third strategic plan.

The last five-year plan focused on identifying the vision of the school as innovation, education and research for a healthier North.

The plan was successful and Dean Dr. Roger Strasser said he hopes this next plan, which will take them through 2020, will be the same.

Beginning in July and August, the school will be visiting communities for in-person sessions.

Until then, residents can offer an opinion online at www.NOSM.ca.
