ATIKOKAN, Ont. -- A boil water advisory for Atikokan has ended.
The advisory went into effect for the community after a nighttime storm on July 22 knocked out power.
Atikokan’s Public Works Department issued the advisory as a precautionary measure and kept it in place until the water could be tested.
Recent test results verified that the town’s water is safe to consume.
