THUNDER BAY -- A man and two women are in police custody following a stabbing incident on the city’s northside.
Officials with the Thunder Bay Police Service say the stabbing took place in the area of Ambrose Street just before 8 p.m. Thursday.
Few details are known about the actual incident, but police say a 57-year-old man had to be taken to the hospital where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
A second man, who is said to be 49 years old, was also assaulted during the altercation. He has also been treated for his injuries and released.
A 42-year-old woman, 21-year-old woman and a 39-year-old man are now in custody.
The investigation continues.
