THUNDER BAY -- A 19-year-old man is having his vehicle impounded and driver's license suspended after doubling the posted speed limit during a Thursday joyride.
Police clocked the sedan at 103 kilometres per hour down Rosslyn Road just before 5 p.m. near 20th Side Road. That zone has a 50 kilometre per hour limit, and was approaching a school zone before being pulled over.
He has been charged with speeding and stunt driving,
The sedan has been impounded for seven days and the license remains suspended.
He will appear in court in November.
