THUNDER BAY -- The district’s health unit has issued a new swimming advisory for a Boulevard Lake beach.
On Tuesday the Thunder Bay and District Health Unit announced the swimming advisory for the lake’s main beach.
The advisory doesn’t ban swimming at the lake. Instead the health unit aims to inform swimmers of possible health risks due to elevated levels of E. Coli bacteria.
Other swimming advisories for the main beach and sandy beach of Chippewa Park also remain in effect.
