THUNDER BAY -- Two people had to be taken to hospital following a crash between a pair of transport trucks near Upsala.
The incident took place around 8 a.m. Thursday morning on Highway 27, about 20 kilometres east of the community.
According to the OPP, the crash occurred when the driver of the west-bound rig drifted over the centre line.
Both vehicles sustained extensive damage.
A 59-year-old Winnipeg man has been charged with careless driving.
