THUNDER BAY -- The city’s police service responded to more than 108 incidents during the week of Sept. 22 to Sept. 28.

Those are the numbers reported by crimereports.com, a site that tracks reported crime via information from the Thunder Bay Police Service. The 108 incidents reported last week do not include traffic or quality of life cases.

South of the Harbour Expressway, city police responded to about 58 incidents, including 15 assaults, three break and enters and at least one sexual offence in addition to a pair of sexual assaults.

Thefts, thefts from vehicles and a variety of property crimes made up the bulk of the other 58 incidents.

Another 50 incidents were reported north of the Harbour Expressway. Of the 50 reports, nearly 20 involved assault cases, while seven others were categorized as break and enters. A pair of sexual assaults were also on the list of reported incidents.
