PIKANGIKUM FIRST NATION, Ont. – One person was found dead after a house fire early Sunday morning.
The Pikangikum Police Service received a call of a house fire on Lagoon Road just before 4 a.m. and they were able to extinguish the blaze.
The body of one deceased person was found while examining the scene after the fire was put out.
The Pikangikum Police Service, along with the OPP North West Region Crime Unit, OPP Forensic Identification Services and the Office of the Fire Marshal are investigating.
