Treaty 3 Police say they are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a 30-year-old Wabaseemoong First Nation man.

Charlie Fisher was found dead after police responded to a reported assault at a residence in the remote community located 120 kilometres northwest of Kenora. Upon arrival they found a non-responsive male, who died en route to hospital.

A post-mortem examination is pending and Treaty 3 police are asking anyone with information to contact them at 807-548-5474 or OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
