Gas Watch: per-litre low remains $1.059; high at $1.199

THUNDER BAY: While gas prices across the province continue to trend down, prices in this city seem to have stalled moving into the weekend. The lowest price for a litre of regular gas in Thunder Bay Friday morning was listed at $1.

THUNDER BAY: While gas prices across the province continue to trend down, prices in this city seem to have stalled moving into the weekend.

The lowest price for a litre of regular gas in Thunder Bay Friday morning was listed at $1.059 at the Superstore, a price that has not changed for more than 48 hours. Most other gas bars have kept their prices relatively the same as the day before.

This information is according to the online gas price watchdog ontariogasprices.com. All the reported prices Friday at 7:30 a.m. were recorded within the past 24 hours.

The highest fuel cost reported in the city was at the Sunny’s gas bar on Highway 11-17, near Crystal Beach Road, where gas sold at $1.1199.

The cheapest gas Friday morning at neighbouring Fort William First Nations was found at Rita’s Cafe and Gas Bar where the price-per-litre at the pump was listed at 90-cents.

Ontariogasprices.com contineus to report that gas prices in Ontario continue to fall. The average price for regular gas in Ontario is now at 97.5-cents-a-litre, with the national average dipping to 99.1-cents.
