Ontario Lottery and Gaming Commission News Release

TORONTO, ON – James Yanke of Thunder Bay is celebrating after winning a $100,000 top prize with INSTANT BINGO DOUBLER (Game #1850).

“Honestly, I thought there was a mistake. I checked that ticket five times,” exclaimed James while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto where he picked up his winnings.

“It finally hit me when the store clerk confirmed the win.”

James is a volunteer cook at his neighbourhood community centre and has no plans to give that up but does have some plans for his windfall.

“I might look for a new place to live and maybe buy a new car,” he smiled.

The winning ticket was purchased at Shoppers Drug Mart on West Frederica Street in Thunder Bay.
