North Star Air to add three more flight services, routes to network

THUNDER BAY, ON – North Star Air announced that starting Dec. 1, 2015 it would expand its coverage in the North by adding 3 more Flex Flight services and routes to its network.

The addition of these new routes demonstrates North Star Air’s continued growth and expansion in servicing Northern Ontario communities,. These new routes are designed to inter-connect a corridor of Northern Ontario communities with Red Lake, Sioux Lookout and Thunder Bay.

One of the new routes will connect Deer Lake, Poplar Hill and North Spirit Lake to both Sioux Lookout and Thunder Bay. Another new route connects Neskantaga (Landsdowne), Nibinamik (Summer Beaver) and Webequie with Thunder Bay. The third new route will add their latest community partner, North Spirit Lake, to the existing route of Red Lake, Deer Lake, Poplar Hill and Pikangikum.

The introduction of these new routes will result in direct growth across all their lines of business that includes charter, passenger and cargo services with emphasis on safety, reliability, accountability and competitiveness.

These communities are delighted with this news as it provides them with more choices, more options, more competitive fares and it creates a more competitive environment among all the airlines servicing Northern Ontario.
