First ever Nokiiwin Health and Safety Conference focusing on awareness

The first ever Nokiiwin Health and Safety Conference is officially underway at the Victoria Inn. More than 80 people have registered for the two-day event. The conference includes a trade show and keynote speakers.

The first ever Nokiiwin Health and Safety Conference is officially underway at the Victoria Inn.

More than 80 people have registered for the two-day event. The conference includes a trade show and keynote speakers.

Organizers say it's about informing and teaching their members about everyday safety concerns, in hopes of spreading awareness and creating a safety culture within the communities. Steering Committee Member Anthony Esquega said these discussions need to happen.

As part of the showcase, participants will take home a health and safety kit.
