OPP News Release

(DRYDEN, ON) – On Monday November 23, 2015 just before 5pm members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Dryden detachment were notified of a motor vehicle collision on Highway 17 Docker Township blocking both lanes closing Highway 17.

Dryden OPP along with Northwest Emergency Service and Machin Fire and arrived on scene and observed a Ford Van had lost control and landed on its side completely blocking both lanes of traffic. 

The male driver, a 44-year-old Quebec man has been charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle contrary to section 253(a) of the Criminal Code and also charged with operate motor vehicle with more than 80 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood contrary to section 253(b) of the Criminal Code. 

The accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court on January 11, 2016 to answer to the charge.
