No foul play suspected in provincial park death

THUNDER BAY – Police are ruling out foul play as a factor in the death of a local woman whose body was found at the Sleeping Giant Provincial Park over the weekend.

THUNDER BAY – Police are ruling out foul play as a factor in the death of a local woman whose body was found at the Sleeping Giant Provincial Park over the weekend.

Officials with the Thunder Bay detachment of the OPP say 55-year-old Dawn Fors was reported missing Friday.

Her body was found by search teams the next day.

A post-mortem was performed and as a result of that the OPP have ruled out foul play. Police say the death is not believed to be criminal in nature.

No other details are being released at this time.
