THUNDER BAY – City police have arrested a man in connection with a pair of convenience store robbery investigations.
Thunder Bay Police Service officials say the arrest is connected with a July 24 Mac’s Mart robbery at 915 Red River Road, and another Mac’s Mart robbery at the 185 north Cumberland Street location on July 25.
Police made the arrest on July 28.
Kevin Sakanee, 32, has been charged with robbery, disguise with intent and breach of probation.
The accused has been remanded and faces a court date scheduled for Friday.
