How dare this city council take away from our seniors and the Meals on Wheels program.
We want to give needles to drug addicts, set up drug clinics, fancy up the marina and keep luxury services running with no profit.
I know, let the mayor and council do a food drive for our seniors. Gee, to save money you can keep it limited to dog and cat food. As a child/adult who looks after her mother I am well aware of the lack of services for our seniors.
There is not enough housing, affordable housing, not enough nursing homes as our hospital can attest to. HAGI runs like a joke, most buses with one to three people at a time, but boy you better give them a week’s notice. You have finally proven to me that the people who built this city mean nothing.
Well, the one good thing out of this is when I retire in two years you have just confirmed to my husband that this community does not want seniors so off to Elliot Lake we will go, to join others from here. You should be ashamed.
