THUNDER BAY -- Even though the team fell well short of their goals, a veteran Thunder Bay Chill defender continues to pick up personal accolades.
Nolan Intermoia was named to the Premier Development League’s All-League Team, which was unveiled on Tuesday. He had already been named to the Central Conference’s All-Conference team.
The Chill captain was on the pitch for all 1,260 minutes of the Chill’s 14 regular season games, one of only two players on the team to accomplish the feat.
Intermoia finished the season with four goals, tied for the second most on the club.
He has said this past season would be his final one with the Chill. Intermoia scored the Chill’s penalty kick winning goal in the 2008 PDL championship final.
