Position Overview:
Under the direction of the Anti-Human Trafficking Services Manager or designate, the Nutrition Cook will ensure that nutritious and well-balanced meals are planned, prepared and provided primarily for but not exclusively, the clients accessing the Ojichaagwan Ani-mino-aya Treatment Centre.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Minimum two-day (2) Food Handlers Safety course Certificate. Prefer Chef’s papers
Two years (2) experience in food preparation, Nutrition Cooking and/or a nutritional service related field
Ability to work flexible hours and work at all services sites as determined and scheduled by the Nutrition Cook/Team Leader and/or Anti-Human Trafficking Services Manager
Must possess a Class “G” Driver’s License and a personal, reliable vehicle
Must hold a valid Standard First Aid/CPR Certificate
Must complete a criminal records check upon hiring
Must complete a medical and receive the required immunizations as recommended by the local medical officer of health
Hours of Work: 35 hours per week
