Job Title: Delivery Driver
Job Type: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Expected Hours: 15-35 per week
Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Delivery Driver to join our team. Thunder Bay
Broom and Chemical is a locally owned company known for its fast service, reliable products, and
strong customer relationships. You will be responsible for transporting products to customers in a
timely, courteous, and professional manner using a company cube van.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate company cube vans to complete deliveries on schedule
- Load and unload freight with care and according to delivery instructions
- Deliver products to customers within Thunder Bay and surrounding areas
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety
- Keep accurate delivery records and collect customer signatures
- Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies
- Communicate with the warehouse team about delivery updates or issues
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and manage time effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a delivery driver (1 year preferred)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Requirements:
- Valid G driver's license with a clean driving record
- Physically capable of lifting and moving heavy packages (up to 25 kg)
- High school diploma or equivalent
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Occasional weekends as needed
