THUNDER BAY — Monday's federal election will impact the broadcast of the Thunder Bay city council's April 28 meeting.
The broadcast will be affected for viewers of Rogers TV, formerly Shaw Spotlight, on channel 10 or 105.
A notice issued by the City of Thunder Bay on Friday said the council broadcast will only be available from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. after which it will be interrupted by coverage of the federal election.
The interruption does not impact the online livestream, available on the city's website.
As always, council meeting are open for the public to attend in person.
Monday's council agenda includes several high-profile item, including a vote on the location of a temporary shelter village, the proposal to open a library branch at Intercity Shopping Centre and an update on increased animal services.
