Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for Thunder Bay.
A slow-moving line of showers and thunderstorms is soaking the region Monday morning. Weather radar shows this line extending from near Kakabeka Falls and Thunder Bay across the Nipigon and Cameron Falls area to Geraldton.
Rainfall amounts of 20 to 40 millimetres are expected in areas that receive a couple thunderstorms in a row.
