On Thursday, April 25, Thunder Bay and its surroundings host various events catering to different interests. Starting at 9:00 am, the Senior Income Tax Clinic at Thunder Bay 55 Plus Centre assists individuals with their taxes. At 10:00 am, the Clean, Green & Beautiful Committee Meeting convenes at City Hall to discuss environmental matters. Educational events at the Thunder Bay Museum include "Ukrainian Matrix," "An Introduction To Indian Day Schools In Canada," and "Science North Our Climate Quest," all starting at 1:00 pm. The Northwestern Ontario Municipal Association 2024 Conference & AGM also takes place at Victoria Inn Hotel and Convention Centre from the same time. For those interested in skills development, the "Code to Career" networking event at Northwestern Ontario Innovation Centre begins at 4:00 pm. Heritage Advisory Committee Meeting at City Hall gathers at 5:00 pm to discuss matters related to heritage preservation. In the evening, there are social and entertainment options, including the "Journey to Life Dinner" at Valhalla Hotel & Convention Centre Ballroom starting at 5:30 pm, and the "R&B and Jazz Social Club featuring Cassidy Houston" at Woodside Bar beginning at 7:00 pm. Additionally, "LIVE!!! KARAOKE EVERY THURSDAY" takes place at BAR POLONIA, offering a fun karaoke experience for attendees.
