As we head into the last days of the Ontario election, we hear lots of spin from our current government, much of it paid for by our tax dollars. Doug Ford has been saying he has our backs.
After seven years in office, one key issue to think about is “Are you better off now than you were sever years ago?”
We hear lots of promises and even more spin, but when I go to the grocery story, my final bill is way higher than it was. Our hospitals are facing longer delays and many closures at the ERs. Our schools are under funded – the lowest rate in all of Canada.
The only group that seems to be better off these days is the top 1 per cent. Are you going to vote to make them richer? I won’t. But I will vote to show my displeasure.
