THUNDER BAY — Advance voting for the upcoming federal election begins Friday, Sept. 10.
Elections Canada says advance polls will be open across the country from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. local time daily from Friday until Monday, Sept. 13 inclusive.
Voters should check the voter registration cards they received in the mail for the location of their advance poll.
You must prove your identity and address in order to cast a ballot.

Elections Canada says polling places will have hand-sanitizing stations at entrances and exits, and non-medical masks will be available.
Voters must adhere to physical distancing requirements and follow directional signs.
Ballots may also be cast by mail using the special ballot process.
The deadline to apply to vote by mail is Sept. 14. Completed ballots must arrive at Elections Canada by election day, which is Sept. 20.
