Air Canada scraps Thunder Bay-to-Ottawa direct flights

Thunder Bay is losing its direct air service to Ottawa. Air Canada announced recently that it is dropping its Ottawa route from the Thunder Bay International Airport as part of its efforts to deal with higher fuel costs.

Thunder Bay is losing its direct air service to Ottawa. 

Air Canada announced recently that it is dropping its Ottawa route from the Thunder Bay International Airport as part of its efforts to deal with higher fuel costs. 

Flights will no longer fly directly between the two cities starting May 1.

Also falling victim to the cuts are the airline’s flights between Calgary and Chicago, and Calgary and San Francisco.
