All four incumbents in NW Ontario ridings retained their seats

The voter turnout was less than 60 per cent in all four area ridings.

THUNDER BAY — Northwestern Ontario residents woke up Tuesday morning to find the region's federal electoral map was a carbon copy of the 2019 election outcome.

All four incumbents held onto their seats in the House of Commons, leaving the Northwest with two Liberal MPs, one Conservative, and one New Democrat.

With at least 98 per cent of polls reporting, Elections Canada released these results:

According to Elections Canada data published as of 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, the voter turnout was below 60 per cent in all four ridings.

The highest turnout was in Thunder Bay-Superior North, at 59.91 per cent.

The lowest turnout was in Kenora, at 53.91 per cent.
