THUNDER BAY — OPP officers didn't have to go far to find an impaired driver this week.
Members of the Thunder Bay detachment went outside the building on Highway 130 Monday morning to find a man walking around in the rear parking lot.
After approaching him, they determined he was intoxicated.
Further investigation revealed that he had driven his vehicle to the detachment.
A 26-year-old resident of Jacques Township was arrested and charged under the Criminal Code with driving while impaired and driving with a blood alcohol concentration over the legal limit.
The man has been released from custody for a court appearance in early December.
