Anonymous threat closes Hammarskjold High School

THUNDER BAY – Hammarskjold High School is closed Wednesday because of an anonymous threat.

According to Lakehead Public School officials, Hammarskjold High School will be closed as a precaution for the entire day Wednesday, March 27 because of another anonymous threat.

The Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test will not proceed as scheduled for Wednesday.

Officials are hopeful the school will reopen on Thursday, March 28.

Students picked up by bus will be returned home, but those without home keys will be dropped off at Superior CVI.

The threat is currently being investigated by Thunder Bay Police.
