Another COVID-19 case uncovered at St. Martin School

Latest case not associated with a previous case, so an outbreak has not been declared at the south-side school.

THUNDER BAY -- Another individual associated with St. Martin School has tested positive for COVID-19, but the Thunder Bay Catholic District School Board says it is not considered an outbreak because the person is not associated with another case at the school.

Parents, guardians and staff involved with the affected cohort have been notified and will be contacted by a public health nurse.

The cohort will remain home until cleared by the health unit and a thorough cleaning is under way at the West Mary Street school.
