An area mayor escaped serious injury in a single vehicle collision Tuesday.
Greenstone Mayor Michael Power and his wife, Marilyn, were reportedly travelling to Toronto when their vehicle rolled into a ditch in Stoddard Township, near Hearst.
Power suffered minor injuries as a result of the crash, but Mrs. Power was transported to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre with what are described as non-life-threatening injuries.
