THUNDER BAY – The Thunder Bay Police Service has made an arrest after a business was robbed at gunpoint last week.
Officers were dispatched to a John Street Road address just after 10 p.m. on Sept. 13.
A female had entered the business, threatened a staff member with a firearm, and demanded money from the cash register.
She fled before police arrived, and was not located during a subsequent search of the area.
Members of the Break and Enter and Robbery (BEAR) Unit then became involved in the investigation, which led to a suspect being identified.
A 41-year-old Thunder Bay woman was arrested Tuesday on charges of robbery, wearing a disguise with intent to commit an indictable offence, and pointing a firearm.
The accused appeared in court and was remanded into custody with a future appearance date.
