ATIKOKAN – A 35-year-old Atikokan man is facing impaired driving charges following a RIDE program.
According to an Ontario Provincial Police release, officers conducted a RIDE program Jan. 29 around 10:30 p.m. in Atikokan.
Officers conducted a mandatory alcohol screening test on several drivers.
Police say an investigation revealed that one driver had been consuming alcoholic beverages.
A 35-year-old of Atikokan was charged with operation while impaired over 80.
He was released on an undertaking to appear in Atikokan court on March 16 at 11 a.m.
