THUNDER BAY – Motorists will face lane restrictions and road closures on Balmoral Street, starting on Friday.
According to a release issued on Thursday by the city, lane restrictions will be in place on Friday for southbound traffic, between Forest Street and Dease and Cameron streets. Northbound traffic will be detoured around the construction zone.
On Saturday, the section of Balmoral Street will be fully closed to allow for a second and final lift of asphalt.
Work is expected to be completed by Saturday, pending weather conditions.
Motorists should expect delays in the area and are encouraged to seek out alternative routes.
