THUNDER BAY -- A south side home sustained minor damage in a fire early Saturday morning.
Thunder Bay Fire Rescue crews responded to a 1:30 a.m. call on the 200 block of Cameron Street to find a fire in the basement.
Firefighters extended a line to the side of the house and applied water through a basement window.
The second arrive fire truck made a quick search of the smoke filled home.
Fortunately the home was vacant at the time of the fire, so there were no injuries reported.
The cause of the fire has yet been determined. The investigation continues.
