THUNDER BAY - A residential neighbourhood had an unwanted dinner guest Thursday evening.
A black bear visited the Northwood area around 6 p.m. and was chased up a try in the backyard of a Ryerson Crescent home.
The bear was chased more than 30 feet up the tree, where it hung onto a branch without moving.
Witnesses said it had been tranquilized.
