THUNDER BAY – According to the Thunder Bay Catholic District School Board, a perceived threat at Bishop Gallagher School was determined not to be credible.
A spokesperson on Friday said the school received word of a possible social media threat against the north-side school.
Parents were informed the threat involved a gun.
“This matter was thoroughly investigated with the assistance of Thunder Bay Police Services prior to the start of school and it was determined that there was no credible threat.”
Classes are continuing as usual.
